One of the highlight events at the annual Woodsmen's Days
is the spectacle of the largest horse pull competition in the Adirondack
region. Teams from New York and Vermont harness themselves to loads
measured in tons. These magnificent horses and skilled drivers are
reminiscent of the way logging was done in years past.
